How it works
A specially designed laser probe is inserted into the vagina, delivering short pulses of energy that raise the temperature of the superficial tissue without removing the tissue. The mild heat stimulates existing collagen fibers to contract and fibroblasts to produce new collagen, making the vaginal wall thicker, firmer, and more elastic.
What to expect
You will feel mild warmth during the treatment without the need for anesthesia. After the treatment, your provider may recommend avoiding sexual intercourse or intravaginal products. As the collagen in your body remodels, results generally build over a few weeks across the treatment series.
