Treatments for eye aging, especially lasers, focus on tightening the delicate skin around the eyes by stimulating collagen production and remodeling, which helps smooth lines in an area. Treatments also try to relax the muscles behind dynamic lines, allowing the overlying skin to smooth out and preventing the lines from becoming permanent static wrinkles.
What to expect
For laser treatments, there’s little downtime with mild redness that settles quickly. Skin firming manifesting in tone, texture, and clarity usually builds over weeks across a short series. Botox shows within a few days as well as deep resurfacing.
